installed Nero dvd/cd burning software. .. when opening burn program, i
receive msg to activate harware acceleration using the directx diagnostic
tool. .. can anyone tell me where that tool is. . .did a "search" but can't
find it. . . .thanks in advance for any help Gene

Right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot
and slide the Hardware acceleration all the way
to "full" and click apply.

Try again. It sure would be nice if so-called MVP's were capable of reading,
comprehending a question and then giving a correct and accurate answer.
What would be even nicer is if they learned how to post to UseNet so that
real news readers were able to properly quote what was said. Alas, Wintards
with the title of MVP are some of the dumbest posters on UseNet.
