Directory Access of Admin. user account

D

Dennis

Hi all,

My Windows XP Prof. got corrupt recently & i had an
adiministrator account with a password in it.So I
installed a new copy of windows xp on another folder. The
user directories of the previous windows installation is
still there. But when i try to open the directory of the
administrator account(Dennis G), which held a great
deal of important files in its
\documents and settings\Dennis g\documents folder.
I have administrator privileges in the new windows
installation too but I cannot get back into that folder,
I get an access denied
error.

Is there anything I can do to recover those files?

Thanks a million for any help

Dennis
