My computer will not shut down automatically. It gives me the message that
DirectDBNotifyWndProc wont shut down
any ideas?

This an Error message for an E-mail application (Oulook,Gmaile,Yahoo,..)
didn't close properly and not releasing the memory usage after being closed.
First try to scan for malwares and viruses on your computer from here:
http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan
http://www.trendmicro.com
And also for malwares from here:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D

Then Perform a clean boot to see which program is the culprit to cause this
delay error message:
