Directcd error mess

I just got a new lap and didn't even think and put in a cd rw that I had
burned with family pictures on it. Didn't dawn on me at the time the new
computer does't have Directcd. XP ask to load it and I said yes not really
paying attention of course couldn't so now every I boot up computer it while
booting it says windows won't allow directcd to open as drivers would cause
windows to become unstable says I could update the drivers of course don't
want to or can't program isn't there. It can't load it anyway, nothing to
load, program isn't on computer how do I get rid of this message. I won't
use this cd again. I guess directCD is the only program to burn a RW cd that
you might want to add/remove from now? Last two years only made music cd's
through windows media player using cd Rs. Anything else I've been saving on
external media has been on flash cards. TIA

You are using the DirectCD is included with Easy CD Creator 4. Version 4 is
not XP compatible. You will need to buy version 6 or 7.

However, you can install the free UDF reader (www.roxio.com) since this
would allow a regular CD Rom drive to read DirectCD disc.

BTW: Roxio has changed the DirectCD. It is now known as "Drag to CD".
