Direct3d/DirectDraw problems.

Whenever i start any video game, in this case WoW and GW, my screen
becomes distoreted and i cannot play. I started up diax, and ran the
video diag tests. They diddnt work properly so i turned off direct3d
and directdraw acceleration, and the diag tests ran fine.

Any way i can fix this?

You left out two really important pieces of information:

1. What video card do you have?
2. Did the games ever work right? If yes, what changed between the time
they worked and the time they didn't?

If the games worked well before with your video card, the card may be
overheating/dying now. But rather than speculating, I'll wait for you
to fill in the blanks.
