Direct cable connection via parallel port

I made a direct connection between a Windows 98 PC and a
Windows XP PC via the parallel printer ports. The
Windows 98 PC is the host, and the WinXP PC is the
guest. Both PCs say that the connection is established,
the Win98 PC's folders are set up to be shared, but I
can't for the life of me figure out how to access the
Win98 PC's files from the WinXP PC. I've looked in
Windows Explorer from the WinXP PC and the Win98 PC and
its files aren't shown anywhere. When I look in My
Computer (from the WinXP PC) at the Win98 PC icon, all it
shows is the connection info. How do I transfer files
from the Win98 PC to the WinXP PC using a direct cable
connection? Thanks!
