I have now had this error pop up several times and cannot
identoify the cause? Any ideas from anyone?

I don't know what "Direct Access Component" is, but I don't think it has
anything to do with Microsoft Access. By far the majority of hits I
find on Google have to to with Delphi and mySQL. So you may want to
look elsewhere than in this newsgroup, which is devoted to Microsoft
Access.
