dirdatacopy error message during database conversion

I can't seem to find any help on this error message that shows up when I
convert a 2003 Access database to a 2000 version. Does anyone have any idea
what this is and how to overcome this problem? The message seems like an
internal access problem as I do not use a function like that anywhere in my
VBA code. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
