Probably not the place to ask this question. Does anyone know of a programme
that would convert my digital photos to 16:9 widescreen, quickly?

Resize using infanview. use custom dimensions. You WILL get distortion.

It isn't a "conversion", it is more likely a crop to 16:9 from
whatever the native aspect ratio is for your camera. Two common
ones are the older 4:3 and DSLR's usually use 3:2. Obviously, to
get this to the narrower 16:9 means you'll have to trim some off
the top and bottom using whatever graphics program you like.
