Digital Camera

I am having trouble installing my Yamada AstraPix 640 digital Camera in Windows XP Home. I have tried to install it both from the software disk and the windows disk but it will not work or download photos etc. When installing from the software disk that came with the camera I recieve the message "must be USB enabled." Please can somebody help me sort the problem

use a card reader...much faster and safer than camera direct...if you don't
think so...just wait.....
