Since installing XP, I have been unable to use my digital camera connection
I reinstalled the picture navigator program that came with the camera. That program was written for Windows 95/98, so I downloaded and installed a Windows XP patch from JVC, the camera maker. It still gets a connect error. I'm reaching the conclusion that I have something else wrong in the setup
Following another suggestion in a camera wizard discussion on the video board, I tried turning the camera on and restarting the computer. The camera is not detected as a "device with removable storage," as that thread indicated
The camera cable is connected to COM2 port, and device manager shows COM2 is working properly. And COM2 is the connection selected in the camera's picture navigator software
COM1 port is empty now that I got a trackball with USB connection. Is that a problem?
