Trying to install Kodak CX6200 camera. Getting message
cannot install hardware Kodak EasyShare CX6200 digital
camera. An error occured during installation of device.
The class installer has denied the request to install or
upgrade device.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled software, I
get the same message.

i'm having the same problems. though i have installed the my digital camera
before, it would not transfer the pictures upon plugging it in the compuer, i
thought there probably was something wrong with the installation, so i
started it again, removing the drivers and going back to installing it. i
still had the same problem i did it again and again, then suddenly, i got the
message that you got. i tried re-installing the driver but i keep getting the
that error message.
the class installer, i read from the help menu, is the device manager and
denying installation could be a somewhat like a defensive thing. i've read in
the help and support options that, when installing, files kept being modified
that some files become useless or they get deleted, how the computer works
could be affected and so, a procedure such as denying installation or update
of the device enabled as a system support mechanism.
thing is, i still can't still install my digital camera with that knowledge,
i don't know how to make windows re-install the device once again. i do hope
that help would come soon... i mean, it has installed it before, why is it
not installing now?

Be sure the camera batteries are fully charged or use an
external PS for the camera.
