I recently purchased a SiPix StyleCam CAMeleon digital
camera and the software that was included is not
compatible with Windows XP. I get a message asking me if
I still want to install the software. Is this OK to do
and if not, is there a place I can get compatible
software.

I am not sure what software you have that was included with the digital
camera. If your camera has a media card of some sort, then just copy the
images and open with some other type of imaging software like Corel Photo
Paint, Adobe Photoshop and the list goes on. You need not be tied to the
software that came with the camera. Even if you do not have a media card,
the camera should have a USB connection to download your pictures.

Have you tried going to the camera vendor's web site and see if they have a
set of drivers for XP?
I just checked and they say to continue on when you get the capability
question from XP.
Sounds like they did not want to invest the time to get MS approval.
Here is the referenced web site.
