Digital camera software is driving me insane!!

Hey guys!

I know I am going to embarrass the hell out of myself here - I am
total idiot when it comes to anything technical. Here goes...

I installed the software that came with my digital camera. But when
tried to open it I got the "Windows cannot open this file, we need t
know what program created it" message.

I opted to let the web service find the appropriate program and go
this:

File Type: Dynamically Loaded Library
File Extension: .dll
Description: This file is part of an application or Microsoft Windows
This file will be used by the application or Microsoft Windows. You ca
find who created this file by right clicking on the file, choosin
Properties, and selecting the Version tab.

Great, we know who created it. Now what the hell do I do??!! Do I nee
to go somewhere or download something or type something?... Any hel
anyone could give me would be great - I'm going out of mind here! An
feel free to make fun of my stupidity!!
