Digital Camera blocked

I used to be able to download pics from my digital camera, but now when I
load it, it is coming up with Camera Wizard cannot access some of the files
and folders as windows is blocking it. Does anyone know what I can do to
rectify this. I don't really want to have to sell the camera, because I
can't use it. Thanks.

Have you tried the camera on another computer to ensure it is not a problem
with the camera?

Hi there! Using the actual camera to download or upload pics to your
PC is not a safe practice. It puts the camera at risk of falling off
the desk! Please treat yourself to a CARD READER. You can buy one for
less than $20.00 Plug it in to your USB port and nothing else is
required. Simply pull the CARD from your Camera and slide it into the
CARD READER. Be sure to buy a READER that is the same type as your
card...ie, Flash Card, MicroCard, etc.

Hi, thanks for the replies.....I tried the camera on someone elses pc and he
got the pics off ok, we also tried the memory card in someone elses pc and it
worked fine there too.
I have bought a card reader, but although it is doing a search on my pc the
file is empty and again I am getting the same message saying some files and
folders cannot be opened as windows security is blocking it.

Not everyone is as stupid as you are and puts their camera so near the edge
of the desk that it's in danger of falling off! I download directly from
mine and, as it cost me the best part of £1200, I'm hardly likely to do
anything to put it at risk. I put it a good three feet away from the edge of
the desk. It's a perfectly safe practice. I do it all the time.

So you obviously glossed over the bit where he said he'd already got one.

In future read the question properly before making inane and stupid remarks.
