Digital camera problem

I've been trying to upload pics from my digital camera and have installed
Relisys RDC3100 software. However, when I tried to aquire pics into the
computer,I failed everytime.I've checked Help and Support which told me that
in this situation,I should install it using Device Manager, which I tried.(At
the moment,No camera icon showed up in "Scanners and cameras" but I can see
that in "devices with removable storage")
In device manager,I clicked the camera symbol to see Properties. It showed
<This divice can't start + Code 10> and I was told to check
Troubleshooting. But when I tried it,all I got was a blank screen with no
info.
What's wrong? I'm stuck again please help.

The following KB article says code 10 indicates
that the driver needs to be updated for the device:

(310123) Explanation of Error Codes
Generated by Device Manager
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310123

Checking the website, the only download available
for the RDC3100 is the manual. (No Driver Available)
http://www.relisys.com/main/index.cfm?action=drivers

The manual states that the camera is compatible
with an SD Memory card. I think I would purchase
an SD memory card and a USB SD memory card
reader.

Just wondering...are you running Windows XP SP2?

Do you think that a SD Memory card+ USB SD memory card
reader will solve this problem?Yes,I'm using Windows XP SP2.
I'm sorry I'm such a beginner!

I can't guarantee that your problem would
be solved by purchasing an SD card and
an SD card reader but I think it would.

You would no longer have to connect the
camera to your computer...and the need
for the problematic software would be
eliminated.

I am also not a very tech savvy so that I can't provide you any solution. I think you should visit http://www.supportonclick.com. The staffs over there helped me a lot while I was having trouble with my brand new digicam few days ago. They are expert in performing a lot of tricky jobs. I hope they will be able to solve your problem once you get in touch with them.
