difficulty reading jpegs

My outlook express program suddenly stopped allowing me to
read attachments with jpegs. A dialogue box appears and
tells me it cannot find file ".exe".... which is the file
it is trying to use to read the jpegs.???????? Help?!!!

I believe that it depends on what program you have
associated with that particular file. I would check the
file assoc. in Windows Explorer under tools/folder options
and find out if it is trying to open the picture with a
program that no longer exsists.

Scott--I;m trying to attach JPEG's to my email's and

they are being either received as .dat files or nothing
to received at all. Any suggestions?? I tried your
suggestion above and attached Internet Explorer as the
program to open jpeg's and sent another email--it didn't
work.
