Different user same background

Why ,when I select a picture for a background on my
desktop, does it show up on another user's desktop??? We
have four users but this only happens between two of
them.. Thanks for any help!

See if the ProfileImagePath at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\<SID>

is the same, using regedit.
