Different e-mail signatures for different accounts

Prior to the installation of Windows XP SP2, I could assign a different
default signature for each e-mail account I have in Outlook 2003 by using
Tools/Options/Mail Format/Signature. If I wanted to change the outgoing
message from the default, the signature would also change. Or, if I selected
"Create a new e-mail using..." The account I chose would associate itself
with the proper signture. Now all I get is the default signature associated
the default account no matter what I do. The Tools/Options/Mail
Format/Signature funtion is useless.

Check Tools | Options | Mail Format again: WordMail must be set as your
editor if you want signatures to switch when you switch account.

I have never used Microsoft Word 97 (WordMail) as my editor, and previously
had the function described below. If Word is selected then the signature
options are greyed-out altogether.

I'm not sure what functionality you experienced, but WordMail must be set as
your editor if you want signatures to switch when you switch account in
Outlook 2003. Word 97 cannot be used for WordMail with Outlook 2003.

Without WordMail, though, you should still see the correct signature when
replying to or forwarding a message received via a particular account.
