Hello All -

I am curious to know the following:

1. In the user profile you have an application data folder... what data is
stored there, I found an answer that said application specific non registry
data is stored there ?

So what type of data is stored there? All application data that does not
belong in the registry or just some?

Do any applications store there data there ? or just some?

This is Windows XP PRO.

Application data is NEVER stored in the registry, only application
settings.

The location of data storage depends on how the application is
written. Some (e.g. Word, Outlook) store it in the user's profile
folder by default, others (e.g. many accounting programs) store
the data in the application folder itself.
