Difference between Ram and Ram(Reg)

Hi,

this is maybe a easy question, but i can´t find the answer.
What is the difference between Ram and Ram(Reg)?
I think Ram allows writes to the registry and Ram(Reg) not?
And where can i find such an answer next time? I used the Help of XPE but
only could find the describtion of EWF.
