I downloaded image file for linux ( file name: Shrike-i386-disc1-apt.img), but when i burn that file to cd it didn't work, so i went to check other site and found another image (file name: Shrike-i386-disc1.iso).

I am not concerned about why it didn't work (cause i know there is more work needed to done then just download and bur the file), but i was waondering what is the difference between those two files or are they same?

Shrike-i386-disc1-apt.img

Shrike-i386-disc1.iso

Thanks
