Did Sony exit the CRT Computer Monitor Market?

I went to the Sony website, and they only list 1 CRT computer monitor, a
color reference unit. Or do they have a business-class unit that's just
not listed? Been shopping for a 19" monitor, and frankly, they all seem
to suck. Just when I think I've identified a CRT monitor that has decent
specs, I do a seach on Amazon and usenet for what other people think, and
the reality is quite different from what manufacturers put forward. So
far I've looked at:

Samsung = mostly crap. The 900NF looks good, but the 955DF and the 957MB
have too many complaints.

LG F900P - Seems to be mostly an eastern european monitor. Not sure if
it's available in the US.

NEC/Mitsubishi - Dead monitors out of the box, too many complaints.
Scary.

Viewsonic - My last 2 monitors were Viewsonic. Surprisingly, the
Viewsonic 17 that I'm currently using is going on 10 years. Still works
but the image isn't that pretty. Think the CRT is tired. Was boxed up
for 5 years, as I was using a PT775 which died on its 6th birthday. Been
looking at the PF95+, but would like to explore other brands.

And why not get an LCD? Still not convinced they are better than a CRT.
Only thing I am sure of is that they cost more. But since the LCD's took
over the market, seems like CRT's have been left to the low-end
producers. Nobody seems to make a really nice and professional CRT any
more. I'm so depressed:-(

The times, they are a changin'.
New LCD's are more than a match for any CRT's.
Contrast ratio's are great and response times are falling fast. 12ms on
average for new machines.
Sony make lovely LCD monitors.

Ditto here. Good monitor for gaming or if you want to change
resolutions a lot. Small package for the screen size.

Buy from a good company that backs up their sale.

The days of mega-stars playing multiple track studio produced music
and lip-synching on a huge stage are pretty much isolated to your
time period.

You are at least catching the splatter.

Are you sure about that?

Why do you wonder if it makes you scared to be currently using is
going on 10 years?

Why have you asked if you were so depressed:?
