Dictionary disappeared, not CutnPaste in OE6

I recently switched to XP and Office 2003. Everything was working fine and
then after (I think) the SP2 update I have problems. Apart from some other
programs not working, I have lost the dictionary in Word and OE6 (Option to
add to dictionary greyed out) and I can't cut and paste in OE6. Any
suggestions/corrections?
