I just installed windows xp and I want to make the connection to be automatic and when I saved the user name and the password for only me not for every user or even if I put the password for every user it brings very big password and I don't know how to fix this problem,I installed windows xp for a second time and still the same problem

when you say that it brings up a very big password, I
assume you mean the number of dots that appear in the
password box. This is normal XP behaviour, it is an
additional security measure to prevent anyone having a
clue as to the length of your password, as it bears no
relation to the actual length of the word you entered.
Next time it appears, just click "connect" and see if it
will connect. If it does, you don't have a problem, if
not, post back with a few more details.

Windows Xp will amsk your password by displaying a large
number of stars....that doesn't correspond to the amount
of characters of your password. This has been done for
extra security, so no one can see the actual lenght of
your password....

I have cd from isp and I can go to the internet but not with saving the password or make it automatic if
I put automatic it brings to much ************** and I didn't try to connect I thought that it's wrong but I will try.what I did als

setup my connection manuall
connect using a dialup mode

phone number the number to contac
creat this connection fo
I tried the 2 options my use only and anyone's us
I put the user name and password and confirm passwor
and 3 cheque boxe
after that it was connecting to the internet but when I connect again it brings ****************** in the passwor
that was my proble
