Woord 2003 - When I try to print a document from the "open file" dialog box, it says it can't print until I close the dialog box. Seems dumb. Any way around this?
I do not see how this is dumb... If you want to print, use the Print dialog
after having opened the file or do it from Windows Explorer (which will
then open the file any way). The Open dialog is to, well, as its name
suggests, open files!
You may wish MS had allowed what you are trying to do, but it makes sense
that you would have trouble doing action A from a place designed to do
action B, no?
