Hi all,

when I go to "my phone and modem settings->dialing properties" to set the
local area dial up info, after pressing OK, my system crashes and resets.
Not a big problem, because I don't need my computer to know how to dial, but
when I go to my Contacts in Outlook and change a telephone number, the
Dialing Properties Dialog box pops up. I cannot cancel it.

Does anyone know

-how I can disable the automatic pop-up of this feature in outlook?
ór
- is there another way to let windows know what my properties are, e.g. is
there a sort of ini file that I can edit directly?
ór
-does someone know what to do about this to resolve it completely, so that
the dialing properties box work as it should?

Thanks because it makes me mad....

On the blue screen, it says that it's a driver problem, and then says:
BAD_POOL_CALLER

This doesn't help me further, I don't have a clue which driver it could be.
I didn't recently change my drivers, but then, the problem could already be
there, cause I never used Contacts before.
