Dialing a calling card

Does anyone use Outlook (Windows dialer) to dial a calling
card and a long distance number?
How do you do it?

This is what I tried:
From Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Edit
Location > Edit Calling Card> Calling card dialing steps:
Dial the access number.
Wait for 12 seconds.
Dial the PIN number.
Wait for 6 seconds.
Dial 1. (I tried with and without this line)
Dial the area code and number.

Then form an Outlook contact, I click "start call."
Outlook executes the dialing steps (above) up to "Wait for
6 seconds." Then Outlook says, "Call cannot be complete
as dialed." Meanwhile, my calling card provider
announces, "You have 55 minutes remaining on your card,
please dial the number you are calling." Outlook never
dials the 1, area code or number.

If this is not the right news group for this question,
please suggest a more appropriate newsgroup.

I am using Outlook 2000 SP3 on Win2000 v 5.00.21951.

Thank you,

Thank you,
I have not used Outlook to dial a calling card, but I have used calling
cards. Did you try putting a pause after the "Dial 1"? With the cards I use
there is more pre-recorded talking from the operator after you press 1.
