Dial-up

I have both a NIC card and a wireless card installed in
my laptop. Everthing works fine, until I create a dial-
up connection. Once I create the dial-up and use it, I
cannot connect to the internet, regardless if it is dial-
up, wireless, or hard wire lan. The network settings say
I am connected, but explorer and outlook will not connect.

I restore an old setting to gets things working properly.

I have tried everything that I know.

Do you have a firewall or any other security applications installed? If
yes, the most likely cause is a setting any such application.

Open the "network connections" box.
Click on advanced/advanced settings/
Look at the bindings.
In the top box, are the connections,
and in the lower box, are the protocols that are active for
that connection.

Nope, no firewall protection.
