Hello,
I'm running Windows XP Home Edition, and my ISP is MSN.
And here's my problem.
When I go to: Start->Control Panel (Category View)-
Network and Internet Connections->Network Connections-
right-click MSN Explorer->and click Properties, nothing
happens. For example, I want to enable the Internet
Connection Firewall, just like
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=283673#2 says so. And I
can't change any settings because the Properties won't
show.
Can someone help me with this? I would really appreciate
some help.

Thanks,
Debbie

Unless there's something different about this ISP, you should also be
able to double-click it instead to access the properties.

Are you able to right-click regular files to read their properties?

If I double-click my connection (dial-up), the Status
window will show up, so, in the same window under the
General tab, it has Properties, Disconnect, and Close.
So, i click on Properties, and nothing happens... :-/
(the other options work fine) By the way, i can view my
modem's properties.
Yes, i'm able to right-click regular files to see the
Properties.
thanks a lot,
D.

I don't have the expertise to help, but I strongly suggest that you
repost your question with a subject header like Can't enable Firewall
- No Properties Access.

Good luck!
