Dial Up Nonsense

What is the Pre-dial Terminal Screen that I get every
time I dial up? It is annoying to say the
least..................
 
Get into the properties of the dial up connection.
On the General tab, click on the Configure button.
Uncheck the box labelled "Show Terminal Window"

That will get rid of it.
