dial up connectoid in quick lauch bar

Hi

for some reason my internet dial up connectoid in the quick launch task bar
stopped working. Everything else in there works fine.

I have removed and replaced the icon. Right click on found target and
removed the quick launch task bar itself with no luck.

The dial up conectoid works of the desktop and thru the start connect to
method. This started a couple of weeks ago. Now as a side note my wife's
computer has started the same thing. She is running XP home and I run XP
pro?

Any suggestion appreciated

Rick,

a.. click 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Network Connections'
b.. holding down your left-mouse button, drag your Dial-up connection into
the 'Quick Launch'
c.. or right-click the Dial-up connection and 'create shortcut' to
'Desktop'
d.. drag the shortcut from the 'Desktop' to 'Quick Launch'

ps-You can't cut & paste the shortcut into the 'Quick Launch'
