Hello, I need help I don't know what is wrong with my computer It has a few
problems one of them is that when I turn it on it stays on the black screen
of booting up for a long time, then when I try to connet to my dial up server
it gives error messages such as 691 invalid user name or password and 678
remote computer did not respond, then computer just reboots by itself.
Finally I decided to re-enter user name and password again and this time
connection was successful, it looks like the password had been changed by
itself, there is no one else using my computer but me. Please help me I have
already run norton antivirus, spyware cleaners but the situation has not
improved. I have windows xp home edition
Thank you for your help

Download and follow instructions. Basically it's four AV programs in one,
after unzipping you need to DL the pattern files for each one by keying the
corresponding number, re-boot and then scan (offline) using each vendors
pattern files, it is recommended that you run these in safe mode as well as
normal mode.
This will give your PC a good cleansing of viruses/Trojans/Spyware..etc etc.
It does take some time, but well worth the effort.

Hope this helps

Be v. carefull about downloading/installing software other than from
microsoft...
For youre problem(s),try internet connections,properties,configure button,ok,
close. You should only have 3 listed in the items box,if more uncheck. Also, for
the hardware youre useing,go to the mfg home page and chk for updates, also,
open event viewer see whats taking place...

Hey, I'm a Vista user and I have two dial up lines (lets name both of them
line A and line B). Whenever I dial using line A, I will always get error
message 678. ALWAYS. But, whenever I dial using line B, I will always be able
to establish a connection. This problem has been bugging me for two months,
but I can't seem to resolve it. Before this, I never had any problems
dialling up using line A. And also, using dial up connections with line A is
cheaper, so I'm now spending more money while I'm online. Please help. Thanks.
