I have successfully used DHTML effects on pictures, but I can't get it to
work for text. What am I doing wrong?

Andrew Murray said:You need to select the text/link you want to apply the effect to.
Then select the options as you want them from the DHTML toolbar:
--------------------
On: [mouseover, doubleclick, click, page load]
Apply [Formatting] (this would have 'image swap' if you were doing this on
images)
<Choose Settings> [Choose Font.... / Choose Border...]
-----------------------
What have you done to try and do this? Did you follow the above method?
"It doesn't work" doesn't give us much to help you with.
What effect specifically are you trying to apply?

Yes, I've done all that you mentioned and yes I have selected a hyperlink. Just tried again and
the only option available is On: [page load]. Now for pictures, all works as suggested.
I sometimes have to change the color of a hyperlink because it is not in the white space on the
page, but rather on a color. Thuscolors specified for hyperlinks in the page properties are no
longer visually appealing. All I'd like to do is change the color on mouseover. I can get it to
work in the behaviors task pane, but not the DHTML toolbar.
Can't figure it out!
