Tester

Hi there,
We are getting some duplicate IPs messages from NT4/W2K clients latelly,
server is W2K with DHCP installed. Is there anything I should do or run on
the server? Thanks a lot, Calin

No, but finding and eliminating the offending client(s) would be good. You
probably have one or more static clients out there.

You could try enabling dhcp conflict detection, but as Richard says,
elimating the problem is probally a good idea.

Try finding any machines or devices using static ip's from your dhcp pool.

You can find the conflict detection, under your dhcp servers properties
under advanced, recommend not using more than one or two pings, or you will
find your dhcp server response time increasing.
