One of my DHCP client using wxp pro, does not create the A record in the DNS
server. However the PTR record is created instead. I have checked the DHCP
and the client IP is created. I have deleted the computer name from the
server and rejoin the computer to the domain. I have use ipconfig /release
and renew and dns register but the same problem still exisit. Each time the
IP is created in the DHCP server and a ptr record is created in the DNS
server but not the A record. I have problem detecting the computer in my
network. Please help if any! Millions Thanks.
btw i have manually create the A record but this does not help as my other
software cannot detect the PC.
