DHCP and WPA

I'm having intermittent connectivity when using WPA-PSK
with XP professional to a BEFW11S4 (Linksys). Upon
rebooting my laptop, the router will not issue an IP
address to me unless I am NOT running WPA. If I reboot
the router, however, the router will send me an IP
address. Any thoughts?

p.s...I have all the upgraded firmware on the linksys
router and the latest driver on the Linksys Wireless-G
adapter

Hi, bobby -

This isn't a preferred solution, but I had the same
problem. I ended up returning the Linksys WAP and
purchasing another brand for about the same price - which
has worked flawlessly since day one.

I've seen several folks with Linksys wireless routers
that had problems with Windows XP - I fought with mine
for almost three hours before I returned it.

I don't think it's the OS - but maybe someone else will
have a solution for you.

Good luck!
