What is the best practics to use the Device Update Agent in case when the disk is write-protected with EWF and the current user has no privileges to disable the write protection

Thanks in advance

Eddy.

DUA can execute, right?
DUA can change install drivers etc, so it has sufficient privileges, right?
DUA can execute commands, right?

Conclusion: If DUA can execute then DUA can execute ewfmgr.

Slobodan

Oh, I see - the DUA runs as a SYSTEM user, because it is a
service.

Thank you, Slobodan.

Eddy.
