Just checking everything out on a new machine and noticed in Device Manager
that I have identical duplicates of each of;
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller.

Would this be normal? If not, are they removed the same as in Win 9x (Safe
mode, remove all instances of the duplicates and reboot to normal mode).

Thanks in advance
 
If your motherboard has two IDE channels Device Manager is just reporting
what it's finding.
