Device Manager PCI modem

Hi all'
Could you help please I've just gone on BB via Wanadoo speedtouch
modem.Since I installed from their Cd. I have shown conflict under other
devices, yellow ? stating PCI modem. My new speedtouch is showing under
network adapter. I have perfect BB performance.I've tried uninstalling PCI
in manager but on reboot it shows a balloon on taskbar new hardware detected
PCI modem. I even removed modem without success but will now replace. Any
ideas please.

if you dont need this "modem" or whatever it is - disable it in dev. manager
and forget it.

Yes I uninstall in Device Manager, but on reboot it shows yellow question
mark Other Devices =PCI modem which must be the one I used before BB

Do not *uninstall* it - *disable* it instead. Or uninstall it and then,
with the computer off and unplugged, open the case and physically
remove the modem.
