Device manager empty

I tried to speed up my boot process and now cannot
connect.When I go to device manager then hardware the
hardware box is empty.I went to msconfig to speed up my
start up, thats when this all happened.How do I recover
all my hardware and conect again.

Exactly how, meaning WHAT did you do?

Did you mean Hardware, then Device Manager? If so:

If the Device Manager is empty:

Go the Start/Administrative Tools/Services. Scroll down to Plug and Play
Service and stop and restart it. Once done the Device Manager will populate
again.
I went to msconfig to speed up my
start up, thats when this all happened

Exactly where in Msconfig?
