Device Manager Code 12

I installed a PCI bus 1394a PCI host contoller card and get the Code 12 error
regarding resources..
How do I know how much I have available and what each device is using?
How do I know which devices can be stopped?

I have an Intel 915GAV board with PCI express and an ATI X600Pro video card.
The rest of the devices are hard drives, dvd rom and burner, lots of USB
ports and memory card readers, scanner, and wireless keyboard and mouse, LAN.

The PCI bus in most PCs have 4 IRQ lines(ABCD) the system will share
these as needed. In many motherboards the slot next to the AGP slot
shares the hardware line with the AGP slot and if it is a high bandwith
card problems can occur. If this is the case, please move the card to a
different slot.
