Device Drivers

My PC crashed and Microsoft came back and said it
was caused by a bad Device Driver. How do I fix it?

You need to check the manufacturer websites of the various devices you have,
be it a graphics card, scanner, soundcard, etc. for the latest drivers.

You might find a direct reference to the device causing the problem in the
Event Log. Make note of the time when the system crashes, open Control
Panel, open Administrative Tools, open event viewer, look for errors that
correspond to the time of the crash, double click the error, the information
within may give a clue as to which device is causing the problem, then visit
the manufacturer's website and check for updated drivers.
