Detect USB 2

how do you know your (for example ) that your external hard drive is
connected at USB 2 speeds..

Peter, rt click MyComputer>select Hardware>Device Manager>Look for
Enhanced USB Controller. If there then you are
connected properly. I like using Karen's free Computer Profiler
