Detect smartphone or PDA version in a webpage

Hello:

How can i detect if the device is a smartphone or a PDA when trying to
connect to a web page? I tried with user=agent and detecting "PDA" or "SP"
strings, but there are a lot devices that dont have these literals in his
user=agents.

If the device is WM 5, then you will get the type in the user agent. For WM
6, the user agent has been changed. Take a look at this article. I think it
will provide some assistance.
