My hard drive was replaced and I just hooked up my
computer at home again - my desktop is cut off on the
left side i.e. I cannot see my icons and there is about
an inch of black monitor on the right side. HELP!!

The hard drive replacement really shouldn't have anything to do with it.
There should be an adjustment on your monitor to center your screen.
Check that first. If it's not that, then maybe someone else will come
along with a better idea.... :-)

Use the adjustment buttons (may be labeled "Select") on your monitor to move
the whole screen over to the right.

nVidea drivers have same adjustment too. I always use
monitor adjustment & always wondered why nVidea driver
had this.

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
