desktop wallpaper

i am a teacher. i have used group policy to restrict
students from change the desktop background.

but students can still change the background in ie6.

is there a way to disable "set ad background" in ie6.

If you're running XP Pro and logged on under an Administrator account, you
should be able to right click on the IEXPLORE.EXE file and set permissions
for non administrator accounts. Not sure which one would disallow changing
the desktop wallpaper from a JPEG downloaded from a website though. Perhaps
someone with a more thorough knowledge of registry editing could help you
with that.
