Desktop shortcut

I have accidently dragged and dropped my desktop short cut from the bottom
task bar to my desktop but am unable to reverse the action how do I move the
icon back onto the bottom taskbar.

Thanks for the reply
when I try to drag and drop it back my ATI multi media task bar disapears
but the icon does not drop onto the bottom task bar but remains on the desk
top when I click it the mulit media task bar reapears I'm at the moment using
the keyboard short cut Windows +D to get to desktop when other windows are
open.

Hi once again thanks I have tried that also the one at
www.theeldergeek.com/restore_show_desktop_icon.htm. I have also tried system
restore all to no avail,good job we have keyboard short cut keys.

Personally I use WinKey + D anyway - it's a lot easier.
