desktop recovery

not sure if this worked the first time. may not have done
it right. but the problem is when trying to reboot the
desktop, got an error message which was..."boot block
emergency recovery mode the system flash recovery rom
image is corrupted" Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated

Sounds like either a hardware prompt or maybe spyware. Does it happen to
you if you boot the machine into safe mode? What kind of machine is this?
Is that the exact error message?
