desktop problems

something is on my desktop that looks like an inserted table, containing a
website logo's. It seems to be connected to the internet. I can't get rid
of it.

Hello

If you hover you mouse of the picture, you should be able to see a tiny menu
bar at the top of the picture allowing you to close it out. If not, right
click an open area on your desktop and select "arrange icons by" and then
deselect "Lock Web Items on Desktop".
If you want to delete the item, right click an open area on your desktop
then properties. Select the Desktop tab on top and click on the "Customize
Desktop" button. Next, click on the "Web" tab. Select the offending
picture/item and select Delete.
